According to the ONS, in 2019, only 5% of the UK labour force ‘fully’ worked from home. In 2019 a quarter of the workforce sometimes worked from home. In April 2020 just under 40% of the workforce were homeworking. Many large organisations are claiming that ‘going to the office’ is soon to become a thing of the past.
